Vintage Military Rifle WWI Match Double Header

Flash back to the years 1914 - 1918.  It seemed the entire world was at war.  What began with a political assassination in Sarajevo spread around the globe creating what would become known as the Central powers on one side and the Allied Powers on the other.  As the conflict widened across the Atlantic the US was pulled in as Germany resumed sinking neutral shipping and even offered to finance a Mexican war against the US to help it retake territory in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.  Across the Pacific Japan was involved siding with the Allies against German interests in China.  It seemed that any country that had a grudge against a neighboring country used this war to further its own agenda.

Early in the European conflict, trench warfare was utilized resulting in huge casualties.  Later in the war more focused tactics began to be utilized, but in this match we are remembering the trenches.  We will be using a silhouette target at 200 yds resembling a line of enemy troops advancing against our position.

Each match will have a course of fire like the first match of our regular vintage military double header match. 
Slow fire prone, rapid fire prone, standing... but, fired with WWI era rifles. 

If you don't have a WWI vintage rifle, but would like to shoot one, let me know and I'll see about getting you a loaner. 
Several of us have M1917's or M1903's to spare. 

Other rifles that fit the bill are Enfield SMLEs (No 1, Mk 3), Enfield P14, M1891 Mosin Nagants (1891/30 is OK), Arisaka type 38's or 44's, etc.
